I am fascinated by the everyday beauty and odd details of life, and
I’m interested in telling stories of people and places through my photographs.
I also apply my passion for photography to my work with Bridges to Understanding (www.bridgesweb.org),
a program that strives
to build cultural understanding between students in the Seattle area and their peers around the world,
through the use of photography, multimedia, and the internet (www.bridgesweb.org) After two years as a weekly
volunteer classroom mentor in Seattle, I now work with Bridges, coordinating projects in Seattle schools,
developing curriculum, and teaching in the Bridges digital storytelling workshops.
I strongly believe that regularly practicing something you love has a profound effect on who you are,
and I am always learning something new.
